BOOK REVIEW

Brock always has what he wants with no holds barred. Brock’’s rules are that there are no rules. Brock gets every man he wants and walks away afterwards looking for the next man. There is an unlimited number of men and Brock is determined to try them all out. The word forever isn’t in Brock’s vocabulary, unlike his friend Eli who wants to find one special man to spend his life with. One night at a club, Brock sees a man across the club that is everything that he would ever want. He has as immediate connection with him beyond anything that he could ever want.

Brock and this mystery man, Daniel, spend the night of all nights together leaving Brock to wake up from a dead-like sleep feeling exhausted and alone. Brock can’t get this man out of his mind, ignoring all of the strange things that happened; a cut on his neck with no explanation, total exhaustion the next day, and no way to contact this man. Their next meeting is as sexually stimulating and mysterious, leaving Brock smitten with no enlightenment about his perfect man. Who is this mysterious man? Has Brock finally met his match?

Ms. Hauser has created an incredible contemporary story blended with the paranormal to form a plot that holds the reader from the very start. I was fascinated watching how Daniel reacted with child-like interest to everything that people of today take for granted. The things that Daniel can do appear magical with no way to explain how he does them. I loved watching how Brock went from a care free love-em-and-leave-em type of guy to totally smitten with a man he knows nothing about. To find out if Brock finally finds his true love and learns Daniel’s secrets you need to read this book. I found it a fascinating and riveting story.
