In this dark farce we find four graduates of NYU, two couples, Bob Wilder and Carol Curtis, pals with Ted Monroe and Allan Lemmon. After graduating, they moved into an apartment building in the East Village, living two floors apart from each other.
The only problem is… that Carol and Allan are sure the world is coming to an apocalyptic finale. The two friends believe the end is nigh and party hard to deal with it, just like they did in college. For Carol and Allan, being drunk is the only solution to facing the cataclysmic destruction of the universe.
Their two partners, Bob and Ted are trying to take a more subdued approach to the political madness occurring in the USA and across the globe. Both men are in high-powered jobs, using fitness as a way to battle their stress… Until… One crazy weekend at the Hamptons! Then, Bob and Ted have their own problems to conquer!
